Classic FM’s 20th birthday supermarket flashmob

Classic FM is a staunch supporter of the Two Moors Festival – you may have heard them recently relentlessly promoting our main two-week event in October over the airwaves… very much appreciated, let us assure you! – and we, in turn, love the station. In fact, it’s always on in the kitchen at festival HQ!

The station recently celebrated its 20th birthday and it certainly did it in style, by getting a group of great musicians and singers together in a supermarket to play a soupcon of Handel’s Zadoc the Priest, the piece played during the first-ever broadcast.

Here’s the flashmob in all its glory:

What fun! Have you ever seen a flashmob in real life?
