Gosh, the weather’s wreaking havoc in Devon at the moment, isn’t it? First, we had all that rain and now we’ve got a bucket-load of snow! Living where we do, in the middle of a beautiful valley, getting snowed in is a real hazard and that’s just what’s happened this weekend.
In fact, artistic director Penny was meant to be coming back from London on Friday but has had to stay up there because we can’t get up the drive to pick her up from Tiverton Parkway station! Festival dog Flora absolutely loves all the snow, of course, and thinks its all been put there just for her, although cat Figaro is less than impressed and takes ages to get anywhere while outside, because he has to shake the snow off his little feet with each step he takes.

Am stuck in London having been so since Sunday. Got minimum clothes which means quick turn round of the washing machine! Getting lots done having the iMac with me although it’s amazing how tiring it is on Norland Nanny/Granny duty. Also, Peter Jones is seeing quite a lot of me – and my money!! xxxx
